And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders and with a certain orator, Tertullus, who made a statement to the governor against Paul.

And being called, Tertullus began to accuse, saying,

about whom, when I was in Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring judgment against him.

And the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and they begged him

And I, brothers, when I came to you, did not come with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
