But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.

But if by grace, then it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it is of works, then it is no more of grace; otherwise work is no more work.

But to him working, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt.

So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

Therefore since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not faint.

So then death works in us, but life in you.

then we are confident and we are pleased rather to go away from home out of the body, and to come home to the Lord.

My boldness of speech is great toward you; my glorying on your behalf is much. I have been filled with comfort, I am overflowing with joy on all our trouble.

Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the One having been loved.

For this reason I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

because for the work of Christ he was near death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf, and I fill up the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, on behalf of His body, which is the church;

But also suffering before, being insulted in Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much agony.

so that no one should be drawn aside by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are appointed to them.

For this cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard My deposit unto that Day.

persecutions, afflictions, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra. What persecutions I endured! But the Lord delivered me out of all.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, that through me the preaching might be fulfilled, and that all the nations might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

but revealed His Word in its own times in a proclamation, with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior,)

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,

I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.

And white robes were given to each one of them. And it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until both their fellow servants and their brothers (those about to be killed as they were ) should have their number made complete.
