And they dragged Alexander forward out of the crowd, the Jews thrusting him forward. And waving his hand Alexander desired to defend himself to the mob.

And when he came out, he could not speak to them. And they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he was making signs to them, and remained speechless.

But, waving to them with his hand to be quiet, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go tell these things to James and to the brothers. And he departed and went into another place.

And rising up and signaling with his hand, Paul said, Men, Israelites, and those fearing God, listen.

But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice cried out for two hours' time, Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!

And he allowing him, standing on the stairs, Paul signaled with his hand to the people. And much silence taking place, he spoke in the Hebrew dialect, saying:

Among these are Hymeneus and Alexander, whom I have delivered to Satan so that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Alexander the coppersmith showed many evil things to me. The Lord will give back to him according to his works.
