And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. And Aquila and Priscilla heard him, and they took him and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.

As a ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon a hearing ear.

Give to a wise one, and he will be still wiser; teach a just one, and he will increase in learning.

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught the things of the Lord diligently, knowing only the baptism of John.

And going into the synagogue, he spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

And they having appointed him a day, many came to him in his lodging; to whom he expounded, testifying the kingdom of God, and persuading them the things concerning Jesus, both out of the Law of Moses and out of the Prophets, from morning until evening.

And he said, How can I unless some man should guide me? And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool so that he may be wise.

And if any man thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

Therefore, having left the discourse of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to full growth, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
