And Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, exhorted the brothers with many words and confirmed them.

And I, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I was standing for a supporter and for a fortress for him.

Therefore, behold, I send prophets and wise men and scribes to you. And you will kill and crucify some of them. And some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city;

Therefore the wisdom of God also said, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute,

who was glad when he had come and had seen the grace of God. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to remain near to the Lord.

And indeed being set forward by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the nations. And they caused great joy to all the brothers.

And when they had read it, they rejoiced at the comfort.

passing through Syria and Cilicia, making the churches strong.

And after he had spent some time there, he departed and went over the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

And with many other words he earnestly testified and exhorted, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.

And passing through those parts, and exhorting them with much speech, he came into Greece.

Then having gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, if prophecy, according to the proportion of faith;

or he who exhorts, in the encouragement; or he who shares, in simplicity; or he who takes the lead, in diligence; or he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.

He shall also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others judge.

But he who prophesies speaks to men for building up, and exhortation, and comfort.

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,

even as you know how we exhorted and comforted and testified to each one of you, as a father to his children,

And we sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and to comfort you concerning your faith,

For the rest, then, my brothers, we beseech you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as you have received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more.

Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.

Now we command and exhort those who are such, by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.

First of all, then, I exhort that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

I exhort the elders who are among you, I being also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.

But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.
