he arose and struck the Philistines until his hand was weary, and until his hand clung to the sword. And Jehovah worked a great victory that day. And the people returned after him only to spoil.

And Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time, because Jehovah, the God of Israel fought for Israel.

And Jehovah troubled them before Israel, and killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goes up to Beth-horon, and struck them to Azekah, and to Makkedah.

But he stood in the middle of the ground and delivered it, and killed the Philistines. And Jehovah worked a great victory.

He was with David at Pas-dammim. And there the Philistines were gathered together to battle and a portion of the field was full of barley. And the people fled from before the Philistines.

And the sons of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.
