Therefore I will not neglect to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth.

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is indeed not grievous to me, but for you it is safe.

Beloved, I now write this second letter to you, in which I stir up your pure mind by reminder

And I will also be diligent to cause you to always have memory of these things after my departure.

I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.

But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Do not be carried about with different and strange doctrines, for it is good for the heart to be established with grace, not with foods, in which those who have walked in them were not helped.

But call to memory the former days, in which (after you were illuminated) you endured a great fight of afflictions,

Therefore I remind you to inflame anew the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.

Having suggested these things to the brothers, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the Words of Faith and by the good doctrine which you have followed.

Then indeed the churches were established in the faith and increased in number daily.

for the hope which is laid up for you in Heaven, of which you heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel,
