But you will be named the priests of Jehovah; it will be said of you, Ministers of our God; you will eat the riches of the nations, and you will revel in their glory.

The food offering and the drink offering are cut off from the house of Jehovah; the priests, Jehovah's ministers, mourn.

Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Have pity on Your people, O Jehovah, and give not Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among those of the nations. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God?

By your patience you will gain your souls.

Yea, you yourselves know that these hands have ministered to my needs, and to those who were with me.

For I will show him what great things he must suffer for My name's sake.

For he who serves Christ in these things is well-pleasing to God, and approved by men.

Greet Apelles, approved in Christ. Greet those who are of Aristobulus' household.

But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who lays on wrath? (I speak as a man.)

But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each?

So let a man think of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

If we have sown to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself,) I am more! I have been in labors more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more, in deaths many times.

I have been in hardship and toil; often in watchings; in hunger and thirst; often in fastings; in cold and nakedness;

And being present with you, and in need, I was not a burden to anyone. For the brothers from Macedonia made up completely my need. And in every way I have kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will keep myself.

Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

Truly the signs of the apostle were worked out among you in all patience, in miracles and in wonders, and by works of power.

For we are not as many, hawking the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory,

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the Word of God, but by the revelation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

in every way having been troubled, but not having been hemmed in; having been perplexed, but not utterly at a loss;

For behold this same thing (you being grieved according to God); how much it worked out earnestness in you; but also defense; but also indignation; but also fear; but also desire; but also zeal; but also vengeance! In everything you approved yourselves to be clear in the matter.

being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness,

who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf, and I fill up the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, on behalf of His body, which is the church;

then, my brothers, we were comforted over you, through your faith, even in all our affliction and needs;

Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.

But she will be kept safe through childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with sensibleness.

Having suggested these things to the brothers, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the Words of Faith and by the good doctrine which you have followed.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

Therefore you should not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner. But be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God,

But the servant of the Lord must not strive, but to be gentle to all, apt to teach, patient,

But you watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fully carry out your ministry.

Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

I, John, who also am your brother and companion in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island that is called Patmos, for the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Because you have kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which will come upon all the habitable world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.
