Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins shake without ceasing.

And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering which covers all people, and the veil that is woven over all nations.

I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever believes on Me should not remain in darkness.

For it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine;" who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.
