And I myself, Paul, beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ; I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

And ride prosperously in Your majesty, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You fearful things.

But Isaiah is very bold and says, "I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became known to those who did not ask after Me."

I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

But, brothers, I wrote to you boldly, as reminding you in part, because of the grace that is given to me by God,

And I was with you in weakness and in fear, and in much trembling.

We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honorable, but we are despised.

What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and the spirit of meekness?

For indeed they say, the letters are weighty and powerful, but the bodily presence is weak, and his speech is contemptible.

But I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be daring against some, who thought of us as walking according to flesh.

Do you look at things according to appearance? If anyone has persuaded himself that he is Christ's, let him think this again as to himself, that as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's.

I speak according to dishonor, as though we have been weak. But in whatever anyone dares (I speak foolishly), I also dare.

If it is right to boast, I will boast of the things of my weakness.

I will glory of such a one, yet I will not boast on my behalf, except in my weaknesses.

Then since we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech.

Then we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as God exhorting through us, we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

My boldness of speech is great toward you; my glorying on your behalf is much. I have been filled with comfort, I am overflowing with joy on all our trouble.

But you know that through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel to you before,

Behold, I, Paul, say to you that if you are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

For this cause, I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you nations,

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the calling with which you are called,

Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which was proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister,

The greeting of Paul by my own hand which is the sign in every letter, so I write.

I, Paul, wrote it with my own hand; I will repay, that I do not say to you that you owe even yourself to me also.

rather through love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved, I exhort you as temporary residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

I, John, who also am your brother and companion in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island that is called Patmos, for the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
