Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

You and God are witnesses how holily and justly and blamelessly we were to you who believe,

And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Consider what I say, and the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

Speak these things, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

In all things having shown yourself a pattern of good works: in the doctrine, purity, sensibleness, without corruption,

Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works by his good conduct with meekness of wisdom.

But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.
