But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

And they will turn away their ears from the truth and will be turned to myths.

This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times for you,

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.

First, knowing this, that there will come in the last days scoffers walking according to their own lusts

Little children, it is the last time. And just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which we know that it is the last hour.
