And when they had come in, they went up into an upper room, where Peter and James, and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James;

But Gallio being pro-consul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rushed against Paul and brought him to the judgment seat,

After these things were ended, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, Paul purposed in the spirit to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have come there, I must also see Rome.

For it has pleased those of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints in Jerusalem.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

For I know your eagerness, of which I boast to Macedonia on your behalf, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has aroused the greater number.

For from you the Word of the Lord sounded out, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to speak anything.

And indeed you do it toward all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we beseech you, brothers, that you abound more and more,

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

In all things having shown yourself a pattern of good works: in the doctrine, purity, sensibleness, without corruption,

nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.
