And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know Jehovah, neither will I let Israel go.

The mouth of a righteous one is a well of life; but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

The lips of the righteous know what is pleasing; but the mouth of the wicked what is contrary.

He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but a companion with fools shall be destroyed.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.

The poor speaks humble requests, but the rich answers roughly.

The words of a wise mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow him.

And who knows whether he shall be wise or a fool? Yet he shall have rule over all my labor in which I have labored, and acted wisely under the sun. This is also vanity.

But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Then David said to Jonathan, Who shall tell me? Or what if your father answers you roughly?
