And he said, Who are you, lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to the gospel of God

by whom we have received grace and apostleship, to obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name;

For I speak to you, the nations; since I am the apostle of the nations, I glorify my ministry;

Paul, a called apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's. For why is my liberty judged by another's conscience?

For if I by grace am a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the churches of God.

I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

For though I am free from all, yet I have made myself servant to all, so that I might gain the more.

Do you look at things according to appearance? If anyone has persuaded himself that he is Christ's, let him think this again as to himself, that as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's.

For I judge myself to have come behind the highest apostles in nothing.

But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not again be held with the yoke of bondage.

Nor did we seek glory from men, neither from you nor from others, being able to be so with heaviness, as apostles of Christ.

To this I am ordained a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie), a teacher of the nations, in faith and truth.

to which I am appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher of the nations.
