As to my not coming to you now, some are puffed up.

to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

And I call God as witness to my soul that in order to spare you I have not yet come to Corinth.

But I determined this within myself, that I would not come to you again in grief.

And I wrote this to you, lest when I came I should have sorrow from the ones of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.

For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.

Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse warmly cherishes her children.

But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
