So let a man think of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has made ruler over His household, to give them food in due season?

And He said to them, To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to those outside, all these things are given in parables

even as those who from the beginning delivered to us, becoming eye-witnesses and ministers of the Word,

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his lord shall set over his houseservants, to give them their portion of food in season?

And He said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. But to others I speak in parables, so that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has comes in.

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery, having been unvoiced during eternal times;

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, which God has hidden, predetermining it before the world for our glory;

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each?

being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

And the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself,) I am more! I have been in labors more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more, in deaths many times.

For if I desire to boast, I shall not be foolish. For I will speak the truth. But I spare, lest anyone should think of me as being beyond what he sees me, or hears of me;

For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

but in everything commending ourselves as God's servants, in much patience, in troubles, in emergencies, in distresses,

having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

And pray for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

that their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

praying together about us also, that God may open to us a door of the Word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I also have been bound,

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among nations, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.

not a novice, lest being puffed up he may fall into the condemnation of the Devil.

having the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

For an overseer must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not full of passion, not given to wine, not quarrelsome, not greedy for ill gain;

each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
