A scorner seeks wisdom, and it is not found, but knowledge is easy to him who understands.

but they had certain questions about their own demon-worship, and about a certain Jesus dying, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.

but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.

Because the foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and the weak thing of God is stronger than men.

it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual.

But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

And I, brothers, could not speak to you as to spiritual ones, but as to fleshly, as to babes in Christ.

This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life.

These are those setting themselves apart, animal-like ones, not having the Spirit.
