For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

The heart knows its own bitterness, and a stranger does not share in its joy.

Wisdom in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Have you heard the secret counsel of God? And do you limit wisdom to yourself?

For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
