And from the sons of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred. And all their brothers were at their command.

Issachar is a strong ass crouching down between the sheepfolds.

And from the half tribe of Manasseh were eighteen thousand, who were chosen by name to come and make David king.

And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, thirty-six thousand men. For they had many wives and sons.

And the king said to the wise men who knew the times (for so was the king's manner toward all who knew law and judgment;

The wisdom of the wise is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.

A wise man is strong; yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.

Wisdom makes the wise stronger than ten mighty ones who are in the city.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good.

And He will be the security of your times, and strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of Jehovah is his treasure.

Jehovah's voice cries to the city, and in sound wisdom one will see Your name. Hear the rod and Him who has appointed it.

And in the morning, Foul weather today; for the sky is red and gloomy. Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky, but you cannot see the signs of the times!

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

His glory is like the first-born of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of the wild ox. With them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
