The remnant of Israel will do no unrighteousness, nor speak lies; nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.
A highway shall be there, a roadway, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass on it, but it shall be for the wayfaring men, and fools shall not wander on it.
But yet in it shall be one-tenth, and it shall return, and shall be burned, as a terebinth tree or as an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
Then all your people shall be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.
Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob, says the Lord, nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law within them and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
They shall forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against Me when they lived safely in their land and no one made them afraid.
Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem will be holy, and invaders will never again pass through her.
I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down for sleep, and none shall make you afraid; I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.
and I will make the lame into a remnant, and the banished into a mighty nation; and the Lord will reign over them on Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore.
Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which live alone in a forest, in the midst of a fertile land; let them graze in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah, on which they will feed. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will visit them and restore their fortunes.
The Lord is righteous in her midst; He does no unrighteousness. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail, but the unjust knows no shame.
For sowing will be done in peace, and the vine will produce its fruit, and the ground will provide its produce, and the heavens will give their rain. And I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all of these benefits.
Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and Jerusalem will be called a city of faithfulness and the mountain of the Lord of Hosts, the holy mountain.
No unclean thing shall ever enter it, nor shall anyone who commits abomination or falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the abominable, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars shall have their portion in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.”
