And I said to the angel speaking to me, “What are these?” And he answered, “These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

And when they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

I approached one of those who were standing by and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things.

you who rejoice in Lo Debar, who say, “Is it not by our own strength that we captured Karnaim?”

You pierced with his own arrows the leaders of his villages. They came like a whirlwind to scatter me; their rejoicing was like devouring the poor in secret.

And I then lifted up my eyes, and I saw four horns.

And I said, “What are these coming to do?” And he said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah after which no one could raise his head; and these four craftsmen have come to terrify and throw down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”

And I said, “What are these, my lord?” Then the angel who was speaking with me said, “I will show you what these are.”

And I said, “Where are you going?” And he responded, “To measure Jerusalem and to note what is its width and length.”

Thus says the Lord of Hosts: Just as I had determined to punish you when your fathers incited Me to wrath, says the Lord of Hosts, I did not relent.
