Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and blasphemies, with all malice, be taken away from you.

With all humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another in love,

not given to drunkenness, not violent, not greedy for money, but patient, not argumentative, not covetous;

For “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.

Finally, be all of one mind, compassionate, loving toward one another, gracious, and kind.

Do not speak evil of one another, brothers. He who speaks evil of his brother and judges his brother speaks evil of the law and judges the law. If you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Therefore put away all wickedness, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

You have given me a shield of Your salvation, and Your humility has made me great.

Brothers, if a man is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, watching yourselves, lest you also be tempted.

Likewise, the women must be honorable, not slanderers, sober, and faithful in all things.

But we were gentle among you, like a nurse caring for her own children.

Let everyone come to know your gentleness. The Lord is near.

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself servant to all, that I might win even more.

Let not a slanderer be established in the land; let evil hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

For I fear that when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish. I fear there are debates, envying, wrath, strife, backbiting, whispering, arrogance, and disorder.

Now I, Paul, who am lowly in presence among you but bold toward you while absent, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ.

Paul said, “Brothers, I did not know that he was the high priest. For it is written, ‘You shall not speak evil of the ruler of your people.’ ”

It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife.

a false witness who speaks lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.

But these men slander those things that they do not understand. But they destroy themselves in those things that, like unreasoning animals, they know by instinct.

Likewise, these ungodly dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and slander celestial beings.

especially those who walk after the flesh in pursuit of unclean desires, and despise authority. They are presumptuous and arrogant, and are not afraid to slander the angelic beings.

They are surprised that you do not join them in the same excess of wild living, and so they speak evil of you.

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

A man of great temper will pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you must do it again.
