Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, born in Alexandria, who was an eloquent man and powerful in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus.

One of them, who was a lawyer, tested Him by asking Him,

They honored us in many ways. And when we sailed, they provided us with necessary supplies.

Therefore let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace, that he may come to me. I am expecting him with the brothers.

So being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles, and they brought great joy to all the brothers.

While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper regions and came to Ephesus. He found some disciples

As for our brother Apollos, I greatly wanted him to come to you with the brothers. But he was not willing at all to come at this time. However, he will come when he has a convenient time.
