Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?

Likewise, was not Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

My brothers, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.

even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. You are her children as long as you do right and are not afraid with any terror.
