On that day you will not be ashamed for all your deeds by which you have transgressed against Me; for then I will remove from your midst those who rejoice in your pride, and you will no longer be haughty in My holy mountain.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved. But he who does not believe will be condemned.

He who believes in the Son has eternal life. He who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

For Moses writes about the righteousness which is based on the law: “The man who does those things shall live by them.”

And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. But if it is by works, then is it no longer by grace; otherwise work would no longer be work.

Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God.

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced, and all the world may become accountable to God.

to prove His righteousness at this present time so that He might be just and be the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.

If Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.

I find then a law that when I desire to do good, evil is present with me.

but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then, with my mind, I serve the law of God, but with my flesh, the law of sin.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.

For before the children had been born, having done neither evil nor good, so that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but through Him who calls,

but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, did not attain the law of righteousness.

Why not? Because they did not seek it by faith, but by the works of the law. For they stumbled over the stumbling stone.

For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you received it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

yet we know that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, rather than by the works of the law. For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

But the Scripture has confined all things under sin, that the promise through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
