Therefore I send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from city to city,

He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers,

Therefore let those of us who are mature be thus minded. And if you think differently in any way, God will reveal even this to you.

But know this first of all, that no prophecy of the Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation.
