Romans 11:1

I say then, has God rejected His people? God forbid! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

The Lord said, “I will also remove Judah from before Me, as I have removed Israel. I will reject this city that I have chosen, Jerusalem, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.”

“Will the Lord reject forever? Will He be favorable no more?

For the Lord will not abandon His people, nor will He abandon His heritage.

My God will reject them because they did not listen to Him, and they will be wanderers among the nations.

He will come and kill these vinedressers and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, they said, “May it not be so!”

“I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. At the feet of Gamaliel I was trained in the strict tradition of the law of the fathers, being zealous toward God as you all are today.

I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid! But through their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.

God forbid! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, and may prevail in Your judging.”

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen by race,

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.

I was circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, and a Hebrew of Hebrews; as concerning the law, a Pharisee;

As befits His great name, the Lord will not abandon His people. For it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
