The invisible things about Him—His eternal power and deity —have been clearly seen since the creation of the world and are understood by the things that are made, so that they are without excuse.

For what may be known of God has been revealed in them, because God has shown it to them.

Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things, who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power; not one of them is missing.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established,

who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, while their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them,

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who at the Father’s side, has made Him known.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin.

Now to the eternal, immortal, invisible King, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever. Amen.

For in Him lives all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You have established the earth, and it stands.

You laid the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judges, for when you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.

And beware, lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, you are led astray and worship them, and serve them, that which the Lord your God has allotted to all nations under the whole heaven.

He is the image of the invisible God and the firstborn of every creature.

Hear this now, O foolish people and without understanding, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear.

Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord we have an everlasting rock.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works.

He alone has immortality, living in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen, nor can see. To Him be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

but now is revealed by the prophetic Scriptures according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all the Gentiles for the obedience of faith,

“Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to suppose that the Deity is like gold or silver or stone or an engraved work of art or an image of the reflection of man.

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath you are the everlasting arms; He will drive out the enemy before you, and will say, “Destroy them.”

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king. He endured by looking to Him who is invisible.

that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; and the birds of the air, and let them tell you;

He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made the wisdom of this world foolish?
