Then I looked. And behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.
As I looked, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud with fire flashing forth continually, and a brightness was all around it, and in its midst something as glowing metal in the midst of the fire.
Then I looked, and behold, on the expanse that was above the heads of the cherubim there appeared over them, as it were, a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
Then I looked, and behold, there were the four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was as the color of a beryl stone.
Then he brought me by the way of the north gate before the temple; and I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell upon my face.
And the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan for all the abominations that are done in its midst.”
Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there before me stood two others, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
And it will be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors whom the Lord calls.
He said, “Amos, what do you see?” And I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me, “The end has come upon My people Israel. I will forgive them no more.
and I will make the lame into a remnant, and the banished into a mighty nation; and the Lord will reign over them on Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore.
And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a completely golden lampstand and a bowl at its top, with seven lights on it, and seven pipes on it for each lamp in order to light them.
I looked. And behold, there was a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like a Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
They sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn that song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
He who overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My own new name.
After this I looked. And behold, there was an open door in heaven. The first voice I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
So I looked, and behold, there was a pale horse, and the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed him. Power over one-fourth of the earth was given to them, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
