“Have you not heard? Long ago I arranged it, in ancient times I formed it; now I bring it to pass, that you will turn impregnable cities into desolate heaps of stones.
But Moses said to the people, “Fear not! Stand firm! And see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see again.
Fear and dread fall upon them; by the greatness of Your arm they are as still as a stone, until Your people pass over, O Lord, until the people whom You have purchased pass over.
The dead shall not live; the departed spirits shall not rise. Therefore, You have punished and destroyed them and made all remembrance of them to perish.
