Arise, O  Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

Arise, be our help. Redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness!

Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever!

to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishment on the peoples;

Pour out Your wrath upon the nations that do not know You, and upon the kingdoms that do not call upon Your name.

Out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, with which He may strike the nations. “He shall rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury and wrath of God the Almighty.

If the family of Egypt does not go up and enter in, they shall have no rain. This will be the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

And in anger and wrath I will take vengeance on the nations that have not listened.

Let the nations be roused, and go up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.

Pour out Your fury upon the nations that do not know You and upon the families that do not call on Your name; for they have eaten up Jacob and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your strength, and come and save us!

And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, it is nothing with You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power. Help us, O  Lord our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name we come against this multitude. O  Lord, You are our God. Let no man prevail against You.”

He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked will be silent in darkness. “For by strength shall no man prevail.

Then the man said, “Your name will no more be called Jacob, but Israel. For you have fought with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
