Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, how I bear in my heart the insults of all the many peoples,

for zeal for Your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen upon me.

Remember this, that the enemy has reviled, O Lord, and that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name.

Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily.
