Let my prayer come before You; incline Your ear to my cry.
“If any man sins against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath comes before Your altar in this house,
I rise before the dawning of the morning and cry for help; I hope in Your word.
But You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.
Incline Your ear to me; deliver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.
Let the groaning of the prisoners come before You; according to the greatness of Your power preserve those who are appointed to die.
Be merciful to me, O Lord, for to You I cry all day long.
Even when I cry for help, He shuts out my prayer.
