O  Lord God of Hosts, how long will You be angry with the prayers of Your people?

Do not let me be ashamed, O  Lord, for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them go silently to Sheol.

You have placed gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and new wine abound.

You, O  Lord God of Hosts, the God of Israel, awake to punish all the nations; do not be merciful to any wicked transgressors.   Selah

You have shown Your people hardship; You have given us wine to drink that makes us stagger.

O God, why have You cast us off forever? Why does Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?

How long, O  Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?

You have covered Yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer should pass through.

“Now therefore, O God, hear the prayer of Your servant and his supplications, and for Your sake, O Lord, cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary, which is desolate.

The Lord will not spare him; rather the anger of the Lord and His jealousy will smolder against that man. All the curses that are written in this book will rest on him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.
