Blessed is the man You choose and allow to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love;

As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, beloved brothers of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own possession.

then hear from heaven, from Your dwelling place, their prayer and supplication, and maintain their cause, and forgive the people who have sinned against You.

My wounds grow foul and fester because of my foolishness.

Who is a God like You, bearing iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not remain angry forever, because He delights in benevolence.
