Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.

Hear a just cause, O Lord, attend to my cry; give ear to my prayer that is not from deceitful lips.
Hear my voice, O God, concerning my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You, when I lift up my hands toward Your most holy place.
O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor discipline me in the heat of Your anger.
