Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

“But He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know you, or where you come from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.

But then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice evil.’

I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy hill.    Selah

In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard because of His godly fear.

“Then He will say to those at the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, O bloodthirsty men!

O people in Zion, inhabitants in Jerusalem, you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry. When He hears it, He will answer you.

For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.

“Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add to your days fifteen years.

and said, “Remember now, O  Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

You keep count of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle; are they not in Your book?

My eye also is dim because of sorrow, and all my members are like a shadow.

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away.

You have heard my plea: “Do not close Your ear to my cry for help!”
