For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol who will give You thanks?
The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence.
Whatever your hands find to do, do with your strength; for there is no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
“What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
I must do the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.
Return, O Lord! How long? Have compassion on Your servants!
Then I called upon the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I beseech You, deliver my soul.”
