Give ear to my prayer, O God, and do not hide Yourself from my supplication.

Give ear, O  Lord, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.

Answer me quickly, O  Lord; my spirit fails! Hide not Your face from me, lest I be like those who go down into the pit.

To You will I cry, O  Lord my rock; do not be silent to me, lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

Hear a just cause, O  Lord, attend to my cry; give ear to my prayer that is not from deceitful lips.

O  Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor discipline me in the heat of Your anger.

You have heard my plea: “Do not close Your ear to my cry for help!”
