Evil will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

So the king died and was brought to Samaria, and they buried him there.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we can inquire of the Lord. But I hate him because he never prophesies good for me, but always evil.” And Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so.”

They have collapsed and fallen, but we have risen and stand upright.

Let them be appalled because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

I will beat down his foes before him, and strike those who hate him.

He has brought on them their own iniquity, and shall destroy them in their own wickedness; the Lord our God shall destroy them.

In one house shall it be eaten. You shall not carry any of the flesh outside of the house, nor shall you break a bone of it.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone who takes His name in vain.

for a righteous man falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked are overthrown in evil.

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

“But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’

But as for those enemies of mine, who would not let me reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me.’ ”

The world cannot hate you. But it hates Me, because I testify concerning it, that its works are evil.

It is a righteous matter with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

They shall be punished with eternal destruction, isolated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Then Saul said to his armor bearer, “Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell upon it.
