The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
“Now, O my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer that I offer in this place.
He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; but they are on the throne with kings, for He establishes them forever, and they are exalted.
Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His lovingkindness,
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Depart from evil, and do good; so shall you abide forever.
These are the things you will do: Speak truth each to his neighbor, and make judgments in your gates that are for truth, and justice, and peace.
Thus says the Lord of Hosts: The fast during the fourth and fifth months, and the fasts during the seventh and tenth months, will become rejoicing and joy and pleasant feasts for the house of Judah. So love what brings truth and peace.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
