I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy hill. Selah
After this the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. ”
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.
On the day I called, You answered me, and made me bold with strength of soul.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies.
“I have set My king on Zion, My holy hill.”
Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore will I offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I was helped; therefore my heart rejoices, and with my song I will thank Him.
I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Oh send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling.
Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.”
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah
O Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.
Long ago You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy!
He stores up sound wisdom for the righteous; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
You have heard my plea: “Do not close Your ear to my cry for help!”
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone merry? Let him sing psalms.
