Psalm 25:7

Modern English Version

Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your lovingkindness remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O  Lord.

For You write bitter things against me and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.

His bones are full of his youthful vigor, but it will lie down with him in the dust.

Blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times!

Remember me, O  Lord, in Your favor of Your people; visit me with Your salvation,

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

For he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy and broken-hearted to slay them.

Help me, O  Lord my God! Save me according to Your mercy,

Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy, and teach me Your statutes.

Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me by Your lovingkindness.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the abundance of Your compassion, blot out my transgressions.

Return, O  Lord, rescue my soul. Save me for the sake of Your lovingkindness.

Do not remember against us the iniquities of our forefathers; let Your tender mercies come speedily to us, for we have been brought very low.

Behold, it was for my own peace that I had great bitterness; but You have kept my soul from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.

For My own sake, even for My own sake, I will do it; for how can My name be polluted? And I will not give My glory to another.

Do not be wrathful beyond measure, O  Lord, nor remember iniquity forever. Behold, look upon us, we pray, for we all are Your people.

We lie down in our shame, and our humiliation covers us. For we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”

They shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,” for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have become whole. Sin no more lest something worse happens to you.”

A certain man was there who had an illness for thirty-eight years.

For I will be merciful toward their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
