O my God, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.

So the Israelites were subdued at that time, and the people of Judah prevailed, for they depended on the Lord God of their fathers.

But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

Attend unto my cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

They cried to You, and were delivered; they trusted in You, and were not put to shame.

“Trust in the Lord, let Him rescue him; let Him deliver him, since He delights in him.”

In You, O  Lord, do I seek refuge; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.

My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.

Incline Your ear to me; deliver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

The Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they take refuge in Him.

By this I know that You are well pleased with me: because my enemy does not triumph over me.

Be gracious to me, O God, for man would trample on me; fighting all day long he oppresses me.

O  Lord my God, in You I put my trust; save me from all those who persecute me, and deliver me,

In You, O  Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

O  Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I lay in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, firmly placed; he who believes shall not act hastily.

“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, ‘Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’

Now, O  Lord our God, save us from his hand that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone, Lord, are God.”

For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake and for the sake of My servant David.”

You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

kings shall be your foster fathers and their queens your nursing mothers; they shall bow down to you with their faces toward the ground and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am the Lord, for those who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.

Let those who persecute me be humiliated, but let me not be humiliated; let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed. Bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.”

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

For also it is contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes in Him shall never be put to shame.”
