I will beat down his foes before him, and strike those who hate him.

He shall break it as the breaking of the potter’s vessel that is broken in pieces; He shall not spare so that there shall not be found in the breaking of it a shard to take fire from the hearth or with which to take water out of a cistern.

For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly destroyed.

I will dash them against one another, even the fathers and the sons together, says the Lord. I will not show pity or spare or have mercy, but will destroy them.

The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which when it passes through, tramples and mauls, without rescuer.

Whoever falls on this stone will be broken to pieces. But on whomever it falls, it will crush him.”

She gave birth to a male Child, “who was to rule all nations with an iron scepter.” And her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.

Out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, with which He may strike the nations. “He shall rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury and wrath of God the Almighty.
