I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not return until they were consumed.
Through You we will push down our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.
And I looked, and behold, there before me was a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering that he might overcome.
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord, like the glory of the meadows, shall vanish; like smoke they shall vanish away.
Let them be like chaff before the wind, and let the angel of the Lord drive them away.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up to help me!
When my enemies are turned back, they will stumble and perish at Your presence.
Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
Keep my steps in Your paths, that my footsteps may not slip.
Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye wastes away from grief, yes, my soul and my body.
