The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, nor sworn deceitfully.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

so that your righteous deeds may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness reaps a true reward.

People will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, for He is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and is higher than the heavens.

Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the ends of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”

Then I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity, yet surely the justice due to me is with the Lord, and my reward with my God.”

He will even deliver one who is not innocent; he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”

I will wash my hands in innocence; thus will I go around Your altar, O  Lord,

Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.

The Lord will judge the peoples; grant me justice, O  Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity within me.

O  Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in the palms of my hands,

And he said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have rewarded me with good, while I have rewarded you with evil.

“Even so He would have removed you out of distress into a broad place where there is no restraint; and that which was set on your table would be full of richness.

Be gracious to me, O  Lord, for I am in distress; my eye wastes away from grief, yes, my soul and my body.

I called upon the Lord in my distress; the Lord answered me and set me in an open place.
