After it a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, and He does not restrain them when His voice is heard.

God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things that we cannot comprehend.

Can you send lightning that they may go forth and say to you, ‘Here we are’?

The Lord panicked them before Israel. They struck them with overwhelming force at Gibeon, then Israel pursued them on the road that rises to Beth-horon and struck them down as far as Azekah and Makkedah.

The adversaries of the Lord will be broken to pieces; He will thunder against them out of heaven. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king and exalt the horn of His anointed.”
