The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.
Hold me up, that I may be safe, and that I may observe Your statutes continually.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.
I am bent down, I am bowed down greatly; I go around mourning all day long.
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.
If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.
